THE WHAT
Art Maestro of the Year is a TV reality-based fine arts competition that will be filmed in several episodes per season and aired on TV, Cable/Satellite networks and channels.
Created by Excel Art Signature , a TV/Film Production and Recreation company based in Abuja.
The Show will begin with a panel of Judges selecting successful participants from solicited paintings done by young, old, male, female and established fine artists.
THE BREAKDOWN
The Competition is open to fine artists and digital artist around Nigeria, for the duration of three months, the show will be aired on TV channels. A total of 13 Episodes will be broadcasted live on Dstv, Startimes and Online mobile and tv channels With three judges and millions of audience, Elimination will be done as a result of points from the judges and votes from the audience. THE APPLICATION
To Register, Contestants are required to send in two artworks.
- A portrait of themselves
- An expressionism art of Nigeria at 62.
These contestants will be taken from three regions: Abuja, Lagos and Port Harcourt
From these artworks, a screening process will be done by a panel of judges, selecting ten (10) regional finalists each, which will sum up thirty (30) contestants for the grand finale and the live shows in Abuja at the Excel Signature art gallery.
THE JUDGES

Jude’s creative passion led him to study Engineering, but his artistic passion began early inspired by the vibrant colours of nature in the rain forests of the Niger Delta and the lush savannah of the middle belt region of Nigeria.
Jude Olotu has since reinvented himself as a painter with mercurial techniques that free the mind to explore. His mastery in the fields of engineering, music, sports and poetry is reflected in the variety of techniques expressed in his paintings. |

Nath Mayo ADEDIRAN Received Professional Museum Training at the
National Museums of Wales Cardiff, UK; University of Manchester Museum (now Manchester Museum) UK; and the Horniman Museum, Forest Hill, London. He received additional training in Project Management and Exhibition Concepts at the Barbados National Museum and Historical Association under the auspices of Samp. Exhibition Workshops in Mumbai, India and Baku, Azabarjan; Conflict Resolution, Baku Azabarjan. He was Curator and Director of Museums at the National Museum. He was President of the Museums’ Association of Nigeria and ICOM Chairperson for Nigeria, Secretary International Council of Museum (ICOM) NATHIST Committee Project Manager on exhibition Development in Museums for Samp Project President International Council of African Museums (AFRICOM) |
